How to handle your honeymoon plans

Your honeymoon was planned in the next few months, but Covid-19 has shaken up a lot of weddings and honeymoons, including yours. What should you do?

First of all, know what your options are: if you haven’t already, call your travel advisor or the airline and hotel. Consider to ask for a refund, but also don’t panic: honeymoons can be taken within one year of the wedding date. Maybe you can remodel your plans and take a positive outcome out of this necessity.

Someone may consider to temporarily change their destination: it is not that bad to explore your own country, instead of going for an exotic vacation. It doesn’t mean that you have to give your dreams up: save the budget you had been allocated for your honeymoon and reschedule; in the meanwhile, there are many options for a romantic getaway when it will possible to travel within bounds.

Whatever you decide, despite of the bad news that this Covid-19 is, try to stay positive and smile: being married is all about facing challenges together and find out how strong you are as a couple!
